Murder Fit For A King
Using the introduction from the book 'The Sagas of Ragnar Lodbrok' as inspiration the group created an interactive audiobook. The audiobook allows the listener to choose which side of the story they hear affecting their opinion of each character. This leads in concluding the story with a choice of three different endings. The audiobook can be found at https://khlrobertson.wixsite.com/murderfitforaking

Sold my Soul
Working in partnership with Sold My Soul, a clothing company based in Scotland, I was asked to create a piece that the brand could use in promotions videos as an introduction. Following a meeting to discuss how the client wanted the logo to sound I found the brand wanted to portray a dark image leading me to utilise bass heavily in the logo. With an incredibly short visual to work with, I enjoyed the challenge of bringing the clients specifications to life

Audio Obscura
An audio and visual installation that takes inspiration from the popular tourist attraction “Camera Obsucra” located in Edinburgh. Utilising reactive audio, “Audio Obsucra” allows the participant to experience auditory illusions designed to disorientate and get out what they put in to the experience. For example, the more the participant speaks into the microphone, the more affected the visual of the user becomes on screen. Some Users found the installation overwhelming describing the experience as a sensory overlord. This achieved the desired effect from the creators. It gave a great opportunity to talk and explain relating concepts with the installation. It has been said that people are exposed to endless amounts of data online that can become too much to handle, much like how a person with normal hearing for their age cannot turn off their hearing.

Samurai Slice AR
As part of my Sound Design 2 hand in, I create an Augmented Reality game using inspiration from popular mobile game applications. The game uses interactive sounds to steer the player into an immersive experience as the perform the tasks in game to complete levels and achieve a high score. Most of these sounds are location based, encouraging the player to try the game in different environments to enhance the playing experience.
